Beloved Bermondsey is a short documentary about a South London area going through change. Teenagers, long time locals and newer arrivals talk honestly about what Bermondsey means to them, what regeneration might bring, and what holds the community together.

Running through it is the memory of Russell Dryden, a fishmonger whose community spirit left a mark on everyone around him.

The film was made in support of Big Local Works' people-powered regeneration project.
